About This Release

We are pleased to announce the official release of Practice Perfect EMR + Management Software Version 2.0.0.544. Please review the attached list of new features & benefits carefully.

Teletherapy!

This update includes the new Teletherapy link with InSig Health. With this feature, you can schedule and launch Teletherapy sessions with patients directly from within Practice Perfect.

An account with Insig Health needs to be setup - please contact Steve Delaney at steve@insighealth.com

Credit Card Info:

The option entitled Don't retain credit card info (on the Client's Payment Info tab) was not being saved - this has been corrected.

Financial

NEW Visit Count option:

Until now, visit counts and limits were based purely on the financial entry of services and not necessarily attended appointments. A new option has been added to have visit counts based on Attended, Completed (or Late) appointments.

To select this new way of monitoring visits, drop-down under Settings to Customize Accounting and select the new Visit count based on Attended/Completed/Late appointments option.

This new countdown method will be reflected in the coverage information in the Blue Header section of each client, the Funding Report and wherever else it may appear on reports.

List Only Invoice style:

The List Only invoice style had stopped functioning in a recent update, this has been corrected.

Fees Split between Providers:

Fees split between providers, for compensation purposes, were not being recorded under the correct billing and/or service provider if the appointment was not booked under the client's usual Managing Provider - this has been corrected.

Fee Packages and Quick Service Entry:

During the entry of Daily Notes, while entering the Fee Codes for the treatment, if a Fee Package was selected, the modifiers from the first Fee Code in that package were assigned to all Fee Codes in that package - this has been corrected.

Reporting

NEW Accounts Receivable Worklist report:

This new Accounts Receivable-style report has been added, under Reports, Finances, designed to help users 'work through' collections based on last entries made in the Contact Log. This report shows extensive detail about each claim and responsibility.

Document and Progress Note Status Report:

The Co-Provider for any document/daily note has been added to this report.

Task Status Report:

Some substantial changes have been made to this newer report. Client Contact Date and Division have been added as filters. The report will now reflect clients with tasks completed between specific dates, but will now also reflect clients where relevant tasks have not been completed, for follow-up.

Waiting List:

A bug in which the Start Time field drop-down started at "12:00pm" has been corrected.

Teletherapy!

The booking and launching of Teletherapy appointments has been added to the web version of the Practice Perfect scheduler, as well. Please see the information on Teletherapy outlined in the first item of these release notes.
